Punjab police have been under severe criticism for a long time especially Lahore’s Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Mohammad Umer Sheikh for his seemingly insensitive statement in the motorway gang rape case. However, Pakistan’s one of the popular fashion designers Deepak Perwani commended the Punjab police.
Deepak Perwani acclaimed Punjab police for their professionalism and support. Sindhi-origin designer, who is also a member of the Hindu-Sindhi community in Pakistan, appreciated Lahore police on his Twitter account.
“They are amazingly polite and so well trained. Thankyou DSP Shehzad Rafique and his entire team at Gulberg station”.

The designer explained in his tweet that he was facing some issues at his Lahore store and the police team at Gulberg Police Station was called for help.
