Rida Isfahani breaks silence on leaked video scandal

While appearing on Nadir Ali’s podcast, actor Rida Isfahani broke silence on her private video leak scandal which affected her showbiz career.

Rida Isfahani’s private video had been leaked on social media in November 2016. The actor said that her ex-fiance – who was a director of photography (DoP) – betrayed her and leaked her private video online.

She said that her trust was broken by her ex-fiance for whom she convinced her parents to marry him. Isfahani said that she had a relationship with the DOP despite he was not even wealthy and belonged to a different school of thought.

The actor said that she immediately accepted when he proposed to her and later convinced her parents. She alleged that her ex-fiancee leaked her private video online when she went to the US.

She admitted that people never forgive someone’s past and she is still facing harsh criticism despite being a victim. The actor said people asked her to conduct a press conference but she refused.

Rida expressed gratitude towards her family members who never said a bad word to her after the incident. She said if she did not get the support of her family then she may not be present anywhere in the world.
