Saif Lands In Trouble for Tandav After Sacred Games

The famous Bollywood actor and producer Saif Ali Khan has landed in hot waters many times throughout his acting career, however, this time the controversy that made waves for the star is related to his political drama Tandav, after the controversy of Sacred Games.

Tandav has been streaming on Amazon prime and a particular scene from the drama has kicked off furor against the star and the series.

An FIR has been registered against the director and writer of the series for allegedly ridiculing and tarnishing Hindu gods.

The BJP leaders have claimed that Saif Ali Khan starrer web series hurts the religious sentiments and can bring spur mischief in India.

This is not the only time that Saif starrer web series Tandav has caused troubles for him, earlier, the actor was wrangled for the controversy related to his character “Sartaj” in the Sacred Games.

The Netflix series embarked distress in the Sikh community in India as one of the scenes included in the series was alleged to disrespect one of the religious symbols of Sikhs “Kada” (a bangle that is considered as the blessing of Guru Sahib).

Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Manjinder Singh Sirsa demanded the “scene” be removed immediately from the series.

Saif Ali Khan belongs to an Indian Nawab family and he is the son of Nawab Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi while being the son-in-law of influential Kapoors.

Despite being a powerful character, the actor Saif has landed in troubles from time to time throughout his acting career.
