Renowned actor Sajal Aly will appear in her first British movie, ‘What’s Love Got to Do With It?’, next year.
It will be a British-South Asian romantic comedy which also features Pakistani superstar Sajal Aly alongside Lily James Emma Thompson, Shazad Latif, Rob Brydon, Shabana Azmi, Asim Chaudhry, Jeff Mirza.

The film has been directed by Indian filmmaker Shekhar Kapur and written by Goldsmith herself, whereas, the soundtrack for the film features British-Pakistani record producer and musician Shahid Khan famous with nickname Naughty Boy.
Ace singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, has also recorded songs for the film. The flick is likely to hit theatres in January 2023.
Sajal Aly had also appeared in a Bollywood movie Moom in which Sri Devi late played the character of her mother.
