Senior actor of film and drama industry Qavi Khan passes away at age of 80

Qavi Khan, the oldest actor of Pakistani film and drama industry, died in Canada at the age of 80.

Actor Qavi Khan was suffering from liver cancer and was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Vaughan, Canada. Qavi Khan’s funeral prayer will be offered on Monday after Zuhr prayer at Jamia Masjid in Mississauga. He will be buried at Meadowville Cemetery in Cobrampton, Canada.

The Prime Minister prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased and patience for the bereaved family and said that Qavi Khan performed his art on film, TV, stage and radio. Actor Fahad Mustafa wrote in his Instagram post that “I was heartbroken to hear the death of legend Qavi Saab, such a big loss for our industry.
