American actress, producer, and former fashion model Sharon Stone uncloaked some bitter truths about Basic Instinct in her upcoming memoir “The Beauty of Living Twice”.
Sharon Stone uncovered the pressure she faced from the producer of the 1992 erotic thriller Basic Instinct for intimate and sordid scenes with male co-actors in order to have better on-screen chemistry.
The actress who has had a prolific career expanding four decades maintained that she was tricked into shooting for that ‘infamous’ scene in the movie.
“I’d been told that they can’t see anything, I just need you to remove undergarments, as the white is reflecting the light”, she wrote.
“That was how I saw my private parts for the first time”, Sharon recalled her experience of watching the infamous scene for the first time with movie’s crew and a number of agents and lawyers.
The Emmy and Golden Globe winner recalled how she was pushed to make love with her male counterpart so that he could perform well in the movie.
“The male producer explained to me why I should fuck my co-star so that we could have on-screen chemistry”.
Stone shared a few more instances in her book that how she was approached by many producers who would come and ask, “So, are you going to fuck him, or aren’t you? You know it would go better if you did.”
