The singer and activist posted a poll on Twitter as he announced to recreate acoustic versions of ‘Saali tu maani nahi’, ‘Teri Soorat’ and ‘Mukhra’

Pakistani Singer Shehzad Roy posted a poll on Twitter as he announced to recreate acoustic versions of his three songs named ‘Saali tu maani nahi’, ‘Teri Soorat’, and ‘Mukhra’. 

Song ‘Teri Soorat’ was released in 2000, ‘Mukhra’ in 2002, and ‘Saali tu maani nahi’ in 2012.

The singer of Laga Reh gained popularity not just for the singing skills but for doing an exceptional job as a humanitarian and activist.

This time, Roy has asked his followers to send him their choices for the song that should be recreated first.

In response, netizens actively participated in the voting and ‘Teri Soorat’ was among the most preferred for the acoustic version.

Similarly, singer Ali Zafar also announced a rap battle in the month of January for his followers.

Despite, the number of submissions exceeded, the Channo crooner shortlisted 30 competitors instead of three finalists, who would participate in a rap battle.

Interestingly, one Twitter follower has already released her acoustic version of the song.
