ALL TOO WELL: Taylor Swift has re-recorded her 2012 album Red, with Red (Taylor’s version) released at midnight.

The star’s fourth album reached number one in the UK and US and marked a departure from her country roots, with Taylor moving towards pop music.

Red featured the hit singles We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, I Knew You Were Trouble, and 22, as well as fan favorite All Too Well.

Originally a five-minute breakup song, All Too Well has been extended for Red (Taylor’s version) and is now 10 minutes long.

The extension adds more details to the breakup with the anonymous man in the song, further confirming rumors as to who Taylor wrote All Too Well.

Who is All Too Well about?

While Taylor has never confirmed who wrote the song, it is believed to have been written about Jake Gyllenhaal.

The stars date from October to December 2010, and they were photographed together on Thanksgiving in Brooklyn, enjoying take-out coffees and hugging.

In Red’s liner notes, Taylor gave All Too Well the ‘MAPLE LATTES’ track, prompting fans to link the track to the seasonal coffees Taylor and Jake were drinking.

Taylor, then 20, and Jake, who was 29, were created by Gwyneth Paltrow at a dinner party, and the singer spent Thanksgiving with the actor’s family, including his sister Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Maggie seems to appear in the Album, as Taylor sings in the first verse: “I left my scarf at your sister’s house.”

The scarf, which Taylor wore in those paparazzi photos, made another appearance later in the song, in the lyrics: “You keep my old scarf from that first week / because it reminds you of innocence and it smells like me.”

While Jake has feigned ignorance when asked about All Too Well, Maggie previously broached the topic of the scarf, saying that she knows nothing about it.

She said on Watch What Happens Live: “I’m in the dark about the scarf.” It’s totally possible, I don’t know ‘.

Taylor and Jake split in December after three months of dating around the singer’s 21st birthday, and she later confirmed that most of Red is written about a boy.

Telling Vulture that she had heard from him after the album’s release, the now 31-year-old said, ‘He was like,’ I just heard the album, and that was a really bittersweet experience for me.
