Insha of Raqeeb Se, Faryal Mehmood wrote a heartfelt note on Instagram after being inspired by the versatile actress Sania Saeed, who is performing the role of Hajra, the wife of Maqsood Sahib.
Drama serial Raqeeb Se is directed by Kashif Nisar and features a star-studded cast including Noman Ejaz, Sania Saeed, Iqra Aziz, Hadiqa Kiyani, and Faryal Mehmood in lead roles, whereas the OST has been sung by singer Hadiqa Kiani too.
Be it Maqsood Sahib’s powerful dialogues to force her former inamorato Sakina (Hadiqa Kiani) to file a divorce against her abusive husband or Hajra’s unnatural support for Sakina, the drama serial has garnered the attention of many.
Faryal Mehmood has been portrayed as a modern and empowered daughter of Hajra, who hasn’t accepted the return of her father’s first love ‘Sakina’.
Faryal shared a photo from the set of Raqeeb Se and wrote an ardent note saying that she has been obsessed with the character ‘Hajra’ of Sania Saeed and her role in the drama.
While comparing her reel with real life, she added that the way Sania has pulled off the character of Maqsood Sahib’s wife, only she could be the best choice for this.
