The delayed movie starring superstars Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, The Legend of Maula Jatt, is likely to be released this year, however, an official announcement is yet to be made.
A Twitter handle covering Lollywood stories stated, “The biggest Pakistani movie ever, The Legend of Maula Jatt is expected to release this year. According to sources, the film might release in September but the official announcement is yet to come.”

The movie has a big cast including Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Hamza Abbasi and Humaima Malick.
The Legend of Maula Jatt is an upcoming Pakistani Punjabi language action drama film directed and written by Bilal Lashari and produced by Ammara Hikmat under the production banner of Encyclomedia. It is a remake of the 1979 cult classic Maula Jatt.
Its first official trailer was released in December 2018.
