The interpreter of ‘Kitty’ is nothing more and nothing less than Puerto Rican rapper and composer Bad Bunny (Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio), who was very excited to be part of the popular project from the start. Get that role in “Narcos: Mexico”?
In an interview with TVLine, Carlo Bernard told how he thought the famous singer was the third part of the Netflix series. “When we were writing the season, they told me Bad Bunny wanted to be on the show,” said the showrunner, who replaced Eric Newman.
“And I knew it was a big problem because my assistant was so excited. It was then that I realized that we should definitely do that. We had to try to find a way to figure out her schedule and she was great at turning things around so she could spend as much time with us as possible, ”he said.
The result was better than expected. “It felt like a fun way for Bad Bunny to lean on charisma,” said Bernard. “He was fantastic and had a great time. The entire cast and crew really enjoyed working with him. ”
Regarding the Narco Juniors, he pointed out,” We’re talking about rich kids from private schools hanging out with the Arellanos in nightclubs and drawn to their community They were children from well-respected families who were attracted to the lifestyle and became a very violent aspect of the Arellano organization. They would cross the border and go to Beverly Hills to shop and party and drive BMWs, so no one thought of stopping them.
Carlo Bernard is the final season of “Narcos: Mexico”. I’ve tried to find that balance and introduce new components so that the show doesn’t seem to repeat itself. “
