Legendary comedian Umer Sharif along with his family has been issued a visa for the US where he will undergo complicated cardiac surgery.
Karachi Administrator Murtaza Wahab and Special Assistant to Prime Minister Shahbaz Gill took to their Twitter accounts to share the news nation had been waiting for.
Happy to inform that visa interviews of Omer Sharif sahab’s family have taken place today. Very grateful to US consulate for exempting the presence of Omer bhai for issuance of visa. Let us all continue to pray for good health of one of the grestest comedians of sub continent

Update: عمر شریف صاحب اور ان کے اہلخانہ کو امریکہ کے ویزے ایشو ہو گئے ہیں۔ اب وہ جلد اپنے علاج کے لئے امریکہ روانہ ہوں گے۔ ان کے اہلخانہ نے اس تمام پراسس میں تعاون پر وزیراعظم پاکستان کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔
