Pakistani actor Usman Mukhtar claimed in a post that he had been a victim of harassment by a female artist, the name of whom he kept in a veil, and the social media users are taking it as a publicity stunt.
Usman Mukhtar revealed on Instagram that he was blackmailed and harassed for more than a year by a female artist who worked with him in the past.
He added that the complaint was lodged in Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) but it took long to locate the harasser.

Usman Mukhtar penned down in the post that his family including his mother and friends were targeted and he suffered from mental health issues.
“I stayed quiet and let the authorities deal with it”, he wrote.
Meanwhile, hinting at the alleged harasser, Usman Mukhtar said he worked with her in a music video back in 2016.
He said that the music video was released without giving him credits as the director and he was ok with that.
His revelations shocked the netizens, most of whom are of the view that Usman Mukhtar is gearing up to grab the public eye before the release of his drama serial with actress Mahira Khan.
However, actress Kubra Khan and Mahira Khan showed their support for him.
