Will Smith Wants to be Like Donald Trump & Reagan

Running for the presidency hasn’t been new among Hollywood celebrities and the United States (US) had presidents in the office who had worked in the industry at some points in their lives and Will Smith wants to follow the footsteps of Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump.
Now, the Men in Black actor has once again revealed his wish to run for the US president in the future.
Speaking in the podcast “Pod Save America”, Will Smith said that he would ‘think’ of contesting in the presidential election.
But, the 52-year-old actor that he would wait until things get fixed up a little before making the move.
“I absolutely have an opinion, I’m optimistic, I’m hopeful, I believe in understanding between people and I believe in the possibility of harmony. I will certainly do my part, whether it remains artistic or, at some point, ventures into the political arena”, Smith said in the podcast.
The I Am Legend actor disclosed that he started deliberating on a career in politics due to the policies of ex-President Donald Trump.
The plan came out after Trump’s plan of building a wall along Mexico’s border and the travel ban on several Muslim countries.

Will Smith wouldn’t be the first Hollywood actor to do so. Ex-US President Ronald Reagan was a Hollywood actor before swearing-in as the US President and serving two terms.
Interestingly, the outgone US President Donald Trump had also appeared in multiple movies and TV shows and it seems like Will Smith has decided to tread in the footsteps of Reagan and Trump.
