Let’s start with some good news. Catching up with Yellowstone Season 4 has never been easier. Every episode of the increasingly popular series is now available to air on Peacock in the US (viewed on Paramount and Fubo TV in Spain).
In February 2020, Paramount Network renewed Yellowstone for a fourth season. Even though the first three seasons of the series premiered around June 20, Yellowstone Season 4 does not appear to be following the same release schedule. When exactly will Yellowstone season 4 start? Here is everything we know.

The first two seasons of Yellowstone premiered on the Wednesday after American Father’s Day (June 20, 2018 and June 19, 2019, respectively), and the third season debuted on Father’s Day (June 21, 2020). It was more than reasonable to assume that season four would also begin on Father’s Day (Sunday, June 20), but presumably that won’t be the case. A Reddit user checked out the upcoming Paramount Network schedule and sadly Yellowstone is not listed for Sunday June 20. It doesn’t look like the new season will arrive in the next two weeks.
Paramount Network has yet to confirm an official premiere date for season 4 and, even more telling, the series has yet to release an official trailer. Cinemablend reports that a Facebook account used to hire extras for the series in Montana posted a notice for a two-day shoot scheduled for June 10-11. The scene was originally scheduled to be filmed last year, but had to be rescheduled due to snow.
The realities of filming a new television season during a global pandemic also (probably) play a role in the delay, but as of now, there is no official release date. Given that the series is technically still filming, our best guess is that the series will return later this summer or early fall.
After the end of season 3, you might be wondering if your favorites survived to the end. (Spoiler alert!) In the latest episode, viewers saw a bomb detonate in Beth’s office, and Kayce and John were shot in separate incidents, raising the question: Who will be returning for season 4? While we won’t know the fate of the Duttons until the season 4 premiere, we expect the main characters to return for the next season.
