Former model Zainab Qayyum aka ZQ has responded to the ‘forensic of journalism’ comment of the anchor and filmmaker Sana Bucha, saying that forensic examination of journalists will be conducted by the Pakistan Media Development Authority (PMDA).

Sana Bucha had shared a video clip of ARY News programme Power Play hosted by Arshad Sharif in which he was detailing the US company’s forensic audit report of the leaked audio of former Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar.

While re-tweeting the video clip, Sana Bucha said that she wishes that journalism could also be gone through a forensic examination.

Responding to her comment, actress Zainab Qayyum said that the forensic of journalism will be conducted by the Pakistan Media Development Authority (PMDA).

In another development, accepting the challenge of senior journalist Ahmed Noorani, the report of the audio leak was broadcast in the UK by ARY News.

Ahmad Noorani had challenged the new channel via Twitter to air the report against him in the UK and USA so he could send a legal notice against ARY News.

The US firm had said in its report that the audio leaked by FactFocus was forensic as the pitch of the speaker in the audio was changed several times.

According to the company report, the 45-second audio noticed a change in the pitch of the sound after the first 25 seconds. Experts from a well-known American company have so far sold more than 5,000 audio and video videos. The company has over 30 years of forensic experience.

Clients of PremoFrancus also include attorneys from well-known American companies. Premo’s clients include several other broadcasters, including CNN and AP.

The premium company said in its report that a part of the audio was produced in a different environment while the part after 25 seconds was produced in another environment. Company officials say FactFocus’s leaked audio is made up of more than one source.

It should be noted that Fact Focus-linked blogger and journalist Ahmad Noorani had released the alleged audio about former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar on November 21.
