Actor Zhalay Sarhadi has expressed displeasure over the ongoing political crisis in Pakistan and the rulers’ silence on the atrocities against Palestinians.

In a Twitter message on the political turmoil, Zhalay Sarhadi said, “Is it me or are we all done with the political drama #PakistanPoliticalCrisis?” She added, “The atrocities in Palestine #MasjidAlAqsa needs to be addressed. Voices need to be raised and NOW!!!”

The actor was vocal about the political crisis in Pakistan and expressed outrage over the ouster of former prime minister Imran Khan in her tweets.

Sarhadi had written on Twitter, “I was never a staunch supporter but my heart is saddened by the state of affairs with which our PM was ousted. Not a political statement just melancholic! Hope what ever happens happens for the best interest of our country! #hope #PakistanPoliticalCrisis”

In another tweet, the actor said, “We, in the parliament, have been so downright disgraceful that we stooped so unfathomably low with a garish display of unwarranted histrionics!! Disgusted with the behavior of such Individuals! Lack of dignitas 😖 #PakistaniSharmindaHai #PakistanPoliticalCrisis”

She also demanded for fresh elections at the earliest. She said, “let’s have elections as soon as possible so we have a honest citizen elected government!!! #PakistanPoliticalCrisis”
