Security forces operation in South Waziristan, 8 terrorists killed, one soldier martyred

Acting on secret information in Shin Warsak area, 8 terrorists including Commander Jaan Muhammad alias Chirag were killed, 4 soldiers were also injured, 31 years old Shaheed Hamid Rasool belonged to Rawalpindi, ISPR.

8 terrorists were killed in an operation by security forces in South Waziristan. A soldier of Pakistan Army was also martyred in the operation.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), there was a fierce exchange of fire between the forces and the terrorists during an intelligence operation in Shin Warsak area.

ISPR said that 8 terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire, including the terrorist commander John Muhammad alias Chirag. According to ISPR, arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain terrorists. They were involved in terrorist activities against terrorist forces and killing of innocent civilians.

ISPR said that in the exchange of fire with the terrorists, Sepoy Hamid Rasool was martyred and 4 personnel including two officers were injured while the 31-year-old Sepoy Hamid Rasool belonged to Rawalpindi.

ISPR said that Pakistan’s security forces are committed to end the menace of terrorism, such sacrifices of our brave soldiers strengthen our resolve.

It should be remembered that on March 21, a Brigadier of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) was martyred during an encounter with terrorists in Anwar Adda area of ​​South Waziristan, while three army jawans were martyred in an exchange of fire in Dera Ismail Khan district. And three terrorists were killed. On March 10, 5 terrorists were also killed in the operations of security forces in North and South Waziristan.
