According to a survey conducted by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 76% of the people agree that the government has controlled the covid situation well by implementing measures in curbing the spread of the virus.

The government has established over 100 vaccination facilities, operated drive-thrus and mobile unit facilities to improve the vaccination process.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Federal Planning Minister Asad Umar announced the new milestone achieved by the PTI-led government.

He said today all strategies applied by the government to mitigate the spread of the infectious virus have resulted in gaining the public’s trust.

Asad Umar also highly valued the cooperation of people with the government in following the covid SOPs and handling the situation in a much better way than other countries.

Further, he reminded the citizens that the danger is averted yet and caution is still needed.

Considering over 230 million population of Pakistan, 55% of Pakistanis still hold the opinion that the threat of coronavirus is exaggerated.

While 60% of Pakistanis still do not know how to register through the government for covid vaccination, depicting a deficit of awareness amongst the masses, says the Gallup report.

Moreover, Gallup Pakistan’s economic wellbeing indicator that had declined on 4 out of 7 indicators in December last year is now showing improvement.

The survey also revealed that 82% of people aged 50 above believe that covid will be controlled soon whereas 90% of those aged between 30 and 50 have different observations.
