According to the Pakistan Cardiac Society (PCS), every year 0.25 million people lost their lives due to heart disease in the country.
The increasing disease is spreading like fire and to curb it smoking in public places should be strictly banned.
Speaking in a press conference at Karachi Press Club (KPC), PCS officials said that heart disease is the leading cause of death in the world after accidents.

They also suggested schools to build playgrounds for students so that heart diseases are controlled from an early age.
