New difficulty for Pakistanis, two cases of monkeypox have been reported in the country, and instructions have been issued to create high alert, isolation wards in hospitals across the country.

According to the details received by News360, Monkey Pox has been confirmed in a Pakistani deported from Saudi Arabia. The monkeypox patient belongs to the adjoining area of the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
According to the Ministry of Health, the monkeypox patient arrived in Islamabad from Saudi Arabia on April 17. Upon arrival in Islamabad, the patient had symptoms of monkeypox. The affected patient was transferred from the airport to Pims Hospital.
Pimms management sent patient samples to NIH for testing. The NIH confirmed monkeypox in the affected patient.
In view of monkeypox cases, it has been decided to put hospitals across the country on high alert and a special letter has been issued in this regard. Orders have been issued to create isolation areas for monkeypox in hospitals across the country.
After the first case of monkeypox, instructions have also been issued to ensure 100% implementation of the recommendations of health regulations at the airports of the entire country.
The Border and Health Services of Pakistan is monitoring the situation. In this regard, a letter has been issued by the Director General Health Services Sindh to the management of government hospitals.
In the post, instructions have been issued to establish isolation areas of five to ten rooms in government hospitals across Sindh.
Meanwhile, another case of monkeypox also came to light in Islamabad. Both the patients had traveled from Saudi Arabia to Islamabad in the same flight.
According to Pims spokesperson, one monkeypox patient is being treated in the hospital, the condition of the monkey pox patient is out of danger, according to Pims hospital, the second case of monkey pox is quarantined at home.
