The police said the accused were in links with the District Health Office East and revealed the names of other government officials as well.
The illegal sale of the covid-19 vaccine through alleged involvement of government officials has been revealed in Karachi.
The vaccine, which was made free for the citizens by the government, was available in the black market due to alleged involvement of black sheep in the health department.
Karachi South Zone Police booked two suspects a few days back for initiating illegal home vaccination service in the metropolitan.

A raid was conducted on the indication of the arrested suspects and a private company was found involved in the illegal activity.
The police recovered vaccine doses, documents, and disposable syringes during the operation and registered a case against the company officials.
As per details shared by police, nearly 513 vials were recovered and almost 60 Pfizer vaccine documents were also found.
A committee has been formed under the supervision of Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Coordinator Fayyaz Hussain Abbasi that will submit its report in a week.
