Pakistan Beats India by Breaking ’60 Seconds’ Plantation Record
Capturing through 47 drone cameras, the participants planted 52,040 saplings in a minute and broke India’s record of 37,000 saplings
Sowing the seeds for clean and green Pakistan, the charged students from Gujranwala snatched a record from India by planting more than 50,000 saplings in 60 seconds under the monsoon plantation campaign.
Some 600 teachers, 6,000 district administration officials and 12,500 students participated in the drive launched by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Capturing through 47 drone cameras, the participants planted 52,040 saplings in a minute and broke India’s record of 37,000 saplings.

Malik Amin Aslam, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Climate Change, reached out to Twitter to share the preparations done for registering the record.
Gujranwala’s name has made it to the Guinness Book of World Records as Pakistan planted trees on a large scale for future generations.

Expressing happiness over the success of the students, Malik Amin Aslam said Gujranwala citizens did a tremendous job.
Moreover, PTI Senator Faisal Javed also felicitated the students for making a new plantation record as Pakistan defeated India.
