Pakistan’s mass vaccination drive had kicked off in March.

Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said on Twitter, “We have achieved the target of vaccinating 10 million people in Pakistan”.

The whole world appreciates the way Pakistan fought the war against coronavirus, he added.

The information minister said that Prime Minister Imran Khan did not let the nation become disappointed in the nerve-wracking war while NCOC enforced the premier’s policy.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health Dr Faisal Sultan last Saturday said that the government’s objective was to vaccinate 70% population by the end of 2021.

With population exceeding 225 million, the country still has a long way to go to achieve herd immunity.
