10 Babies Smile at Once at Their African Mother
The mother expressed that she was first shocked by the pregnancy as it was tough for her in the beginning
In a rare instance, an African woman made a world record by giving birth to 10 babies at once. The record was previously held by Halima Cisse from Morocco who gave birth to 9 children last month.
Gosiame Thamara Sithole, by undergoing surgery, gave birth to 7 boys and 3 girls at a hospital in Pretoria, capital of South Africa. The couple already has six-year-old twins and they feel happy for the blessing.

“It’s seven boys and three girls. She was seven months and seven days pregnant. I am happy. I am emotional,” the father told Pretoria News.

The mother expressed that she was first shocked by the pregnancy as it was tough for her in the beginning.
“I just pray for God to help me deliver all my children in a healthy condition, and for me and my children to come out alive. I would be pleased about it”, she said before the birth.
Professor Dini Mawela, deputy head of the school of medicine at the Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University, said that it was a rare case and extremely risky for the African woman to give birth to 10 babies at a time.
