Wedding is a traditional and intimate function to strengthen the love of a couple. Most couples across the globe prefer to have a lavish wedding with thousands of attendees. However, a bride landed in jail for choosing a lavish-style wedding party.
A 29-year-old bride chose to have a sumptuous wedding function but ended up in jail for managing a whopping amount of $11,000 through donations.
The bride had made a false announcement on her social media that she has been suffering from terminal cancer (cancer that can’t be cured or treated).
The woman requested online donations to pursue cancer treatment. Upon her request, she started receiving donations online.
In almost six months, the girl managed to collect around $11,000 for her ‘treatment’.
This huge amount was spent by the bride on her wedding function and she managed to arrange an opulent event with the sum and gathered a large number of attendees on her ‘big day’.
Sometime later, the truth was revealed that the bride lied about her terminal illness and was faking the story.
