Recently, the National Lottery of the United Kingdom (UK) announced the winner of £122 million EuroMillions jackpot which turned fortune for the lucky Briton and he became a millionaire overnight.
Every year, the British people from around the world try their luck in the EuroMillions jackpot and another Briton made it to the list of the richest people by becoming a millionaire overnight.
Sources revealed that the lucky person will be UK’s fifth biggest ever EuroMillions jackpot winner and the second resident to scoop lottery this year after a £39 million prize on New Year’s Day.
EuroMillions officials said: “What brilliant news, one UK winner has scooped tonight’s massive £122 million EuroMillions jackpot and they are now the fifth biggest ever National Lottery winner!
As per the Sunday Times list of rich people, £122 million jackpot winner will jump straight to 976th rank and will stand ahead Earl Spencer, the brother of late Diana, Princess of Wales in terms of wealth.

The authorities have asked the ticket-holder to contact them to claim the prize.
Back in 2019, a whopping £170 million jackpot was won on EuroMillions, making it UK’s highest ever lottery win.
And after two years in 2011, the jackpot was bagged by ticket-holders Colin and Chris Weir, who won £161 million. The couple not only inaugurated Weir Charitable Trust but also made a donation to a community football club in Largs.
Moreover, Suffolk residents Adrian and Gillian Bayford took £148million from the EuroMillions jackpot in 2012.
