The illegal bidding of partridges making the best calls was carried out in Sukkur under the nose of the administration.
The illegal auctioning of partridges was held in a small plot in Sindh’s city of Sukkur while the wildlife department, police, and administration turned a blind eye to it.
There is a ban on hunting of partridges in the province as it is enlisted among endangered birds.

The participants in the event had come from different provinces including Punjab, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

The highest bid for the bird making the best sound was Rs 1.6 million while the organizers also distributed prizes among runners-up.
Meanwhile, the bettors also put stake money on the birds competing in the final.
Sources told News360 that the illegal activity was organized by a man namely Pehnoon with the connivance of a local police official.
One of the organizers, Irfan Chandio, had also circulated the invitation videos on social media but the administration didn’t take any notice.
