A huge fan of Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Indian journalist and author Pushpinder Singh Chopra lost battle to covid-19 at the age of 77 in New Delhi on May 3. He was the author of a comprehensive book Fiza’ya: Psyche of the Pakistan Air Force.
PAF Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu expressed deep grief on the demise of the renowned Indian aviation journalist and author.
In 1991, along with Ravi Raike and Peter Steinman, he wrote Fiza’ya that portrayed his love for Pakistan and its air force.

Pushpinder Singh Chopra was born in Pakistan near Sunny Bank area of Murree and spent his childhood in Lahore but his family later moved to India.
In the year 2000, he visited Pakistan as PAF’s guest and former Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Noor Khan hosted a dinner in his honor.
The news of the demise of the aviation journalist owing to covid-19 has shattered many people across the borders.
