Surprising news for the fans of an American Rapper Kanye West as the first pair of Grammy-worn black leather sneakers was sold at a price of $1.8 million and internet users are astonished.
Sources have revealed that the pair of Nike’s prototype was worn by Kim Kardashian’s husband during his performance on songs including Hey Mama and Stronger at the Grammy Awards in 2008.
The rapper’s nascent fashion garnered the attention of millions of followers as the pair of shoes was sold for more than three times the previous high mark.

A British-American multinational corporation Sotheby said, “West’s so-called “Grammy Worn” Nike Air Yeezy 1 fetched $1.8 million in a private sale”.
The buyer belongs to the sneaker investing platform RARES, which paid the highest price for the pair.
The sneakers were put up for sale at Sotheby’s by New York collector Ryan Chang.

The size 12 shoes were designed by the rapper himself and Mark Smith.
The shoes are made of soft black leather with perforated detailing at the top, whereas the heel overlay is branded with a tonal Swoosh.
