Loving Husband Establishes a Madrasah, Boutique For Wife in Her Memory
Living a fairy tale, the couple was happy in their own world till the fate hit hard on them

WEB DESK: True love never dies, only gets stronger with time, a well-acclaimed phrase but rarely experienced.
There are countless love stories around us, people fell intensely in love at first sight but very few are making it to the core.
Not all the couples get lovey-dovey life, few of them endure twist of fate. Shafquat and Sumbul are one of those couples who came across a hard row to hoe.
Sumbul and Shafquat met each other in 2017, fell in love, and got married. Living a fairy tale, the couple was happy in their world till fate hit hard on them.
It was a day before Eid-ul-Adha, the couple was ready to take flight for their home town in Sukkur. Sumbul was getting her preparations done for Eid and suddenly she felt uncomfortable.
Uneasiness led to vomiting and she fell in Shafquat’s arms. Upon taking to the nearby hospital, she was attended by a team of medical staff and was given cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).The doctors worked tirelessly to save her but it resulted futile and she died of cardiac arrest.
Life suddenly became a rough ride for Shafquat. He chose to remain in solitude for the next seven months.
He segregated himself from the world, even his own family. He wanted to be in the same house where the couple used to live and try to relive life alone.
‘She was holding my hand tightly on the way to the hospital as she was always scared of living alone’, Shafquat recalled the moment while talking to the news360 reporter.
‘I never questioned my fate and believed it as a will of God but I can see her in every corner of my home’, he added.
After mourning for several months, Shafquat decided to establish a madrasah for his wife.‘I went to my home town (Pano Akil) and there I came to know about a Madrasah (religious school) that was in dire need of funds for basic facilities’, he shared his story of establishing federally registered madrasah.
Shafquat spent all the money he was saving to perform Umrah for establishing this madrasah called ‘Dars Gaahe Sumble for Islamic Education and Learning’ for local kids.
‘Children used to sit under scorching sunlight with barely any facility available’.
‘It was the day I got new hope and dimension for my life’, he recalled the time when he decided to dedicate his life to his lost love.
Later, Shafquat decided to launch a clothing brand ‘sumbowardrobe’ to live a dream the couple shared.‘Sumbul was fond of dressing up with vibrant colors, she used to design her dresses’, he explained the motive behind Sumbowardrobe.
His clothing brand will be launched on November 25, which happens to be the anniversary date for the love birds.
True love stories are rare to witness but surely live forever.
