Pakistani Young Couple Prefers Simple Wedding Over Lavishness

WEB DESK: After the country’s most expensive wedding, a young man has tried to set an example for the cheapest and simple wedding. The wedding pictures have gone viral and receiving appreciation from the youth.

Recently, a big fat wedding was talk of the town as being the most expensive and luxurious occasion, spending around Rs.70 million on decorations and arrangements for the guests.However, photos from a simple yet adorable wedding of a couple went viral on social media costing nearly one lac rupees (Rs0.15 million),as the groom claimed.The photos were widely shared on Twitter.

This unique wedding featured music, dancing, and room decoration.

The message conveyed through the post was to keep your family and friends happy on the occasion and not to cause trouble for any of them especially the bride’s family.

Another example of simple marriage was set a few days earlier by social media user.

He shared a photo of his wedding along with his wife on the social networking site Facebook and captioned it like “No drums, no henna, not even barat, simply married.”

They held a small gathering with their 10 to 15 close relatives while for valima, they distributed meals among the poor.
