Six brothers have tied the knot to six sisters in Multan who are their daughters of their paternal uncle.
MULTAN: In a unique mass wedding ceremony, six brothers have tied the knot to six sisters in Multan who are their daughters of their paternal uncle.
The mass wedding ceremony was organised in Punjab’s Multan city. According to News360, the father Zahoor Bakhsh of the six sisters had married her daughters to six brothers over their desire.
During the event, the brides’ father was seen extremely happy and said that it is his family tradition to organise mass wedding ceremonies. He added that they had followed the traditions of their ancestors.
Bakhsh was of the view that mass weddings helped families to get rid of unnecessary expenses.
One of the brides told the media that they are six siblings and happy to get married together. A groom said that they are bound together by a strong family system and their marriages will further strengthen the whole family.
Another groom named Sajid detailed that all of his siblings are living in the same house and prayed for the unity of the siblings in future.
