The hide-and-seek between the NAB and Sindh Assembly Speaker continues after his bail application was rejected by Sindh High Court (SHC).
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has formed two teams to arrest Agha Siraj following the rejection of his bail plea in assets beyond means case.
Justice Nadeem Akhtar and Justice Muhammad Iqbal Kalhoro issued a 16-page reserved verdict yesterday which said the speaker’s assets were Rs 1.6 billion.
The court said there was a notable difference between the income and assets of the speaker.
Since then, the anti-graft watchdog has been finding him and reached Agha’s house in the DHA area of Karachi.

NAB officials and Agha Shahbaz Durrani, the speaker’s son, had a heated argument outside the house as the family claimed Agha Siraj wasn’t at home. The speaker’s family didn’t let NAB officials search the house as well.
However, the bureau officials parked their vehicles but no arrest has not been made yet.
