Ahmed Hasan Rana more interested in car race with Faisal Vawda than case

Son of ex-top judge of GB says Faisal Vawda will receive defamation notice by Monday.

Advocate Ahmed Hasan Rana, the son of former chief justice of Gilgit-Baltistan, has said that he had sent a defamation notice to Senator Faisal Vawda and also challenged the PTI leader to a car race.

Talking exclusively to to News360, Ahmed Hasan Rana said that PTI leader Faisal Vawda, during Kashif Abbasi’s show, had accused him and his father of taking benefits from the PML-N.  I am going to file a case of defamation against him, a copy of my legal notice will be received by Faisal Vawda till Monday, he said.

Rana said that his father as a retired judge is taking Rs600,000 in pension while Rs1.7 million as vice chancellor. Why can’t a person who is earning  about Rs2.2 million a month buy a ticket worth Rs2.50,000 to travel to the US.

He further said that his father was first appointed prosecutor of Sindh. He was the Press Council of Pakistan chairman when  appointed as chief justice of Gilgit-Baltistan.

“Allah has blessed me with all the facilities. With the blessing of Allah I have vehicles like Mercedes, Fortuner and Civic. I have my own house and a farmhouse,” Rana said.

During the interview with News360, he challenged Faisal Vawda to a car race.

Meanwhile, PTI leader and Senator Faisal Vawda have accepted the challenge of Advocate Ahmed Hasan Rana.

Sharing the News360 programme’s clip on social networking website Twitter, Senator Faisal Vawda said “Challenge accepted!  When and where?”
