Alleged diary of Bushra Bibi exposes plan to pressurise judiciary, establishment

An alleged diary of former first lady Bushra Bibi has surfaced which contains plans to pressurise the judiciary, establishment and the government.

Aaj News could not independently verify the veracity of the diary.

Columnist Javed Chaudhry has claimed that he himself has seen the diary in which an “uncle” was repeatedly mentioned. He told Samaa that the diary was gifted by some foreign country and 2023 was written on it.

According to Chaudhry, the diary was found on August 5 when the police raided former prime minister Imran Khan’s house to arrest him while Bushra hastily tore half the pages. The pages from before July 12 were thrown away, he said and added that she apparently flushed some pages down the toilet. He claimed that some pages were shredded into finer parts, but they too have been found and are being assembled.
