Pro-PML-N journalist levels corruption allegations against Marriyum Aurangzeb
Analysts say that instead of blaming others for corruption, Marriyum Aurangzeb should clear up the allegations against her, and if these allegations are false, prosecute Aniq Naji and prove them false.
Aniq Naji, a pro-Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) journalist, has levelled serious allegations against the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb for accepting a bribe of Rs270 million.
Analysts say that instead of blaming others for corruption, Maryam Aurangzeb should clear up the allegations against her, and if these allegations are false, prosecute Aniq Naji and prove them false.
Aniq Naji is the son of renowned Pakistani journalist Nazir Naji, who has his own YouTube channel. In his recent blog, he has made several important revelations about Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Maryam Aurangzeb.
Aniq Naji says that yesterday Maryam Aurangzeb went to the Prime Minister’s House and there she insulted the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister Dr Tauqeer Shah.
Reminding some past incidents, Aniq Naji said that Saleem Baig was appointed as Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) in 2018 and His contract is coming to an end in 2022.
During his tenure in power, Saleem Baig closed down the shows of many people, dismissed many people from their jobs, and banned many people from coming as guests because they were neutral.
YouTuber Aniq Naji further revealed that now PEMRA chairman Saleem Baig needs an extension, and Maryam Aurangzeb is a great lawyer for Saleem Baig himself. Because Saleem Beg has to be given an extension. Aniq Naji has revealed that the echo of bribery of Rs 200 million is being heard in the air of Islamabad.
Disclosing this in her blog, Aniq Naji said that when Maryam Aurangzeb was attached to the Ministry of Information in the previous PML-N government, she had seized Rs70 million for appointing Saleem Baig as Press Information Officer (PIO). And now Marriyum Aurangzeb has received over Rs200 million to give an extension to Saleem Baig.
However, Aniq Naji said in his V-log that he can neither confirm nor deny the rumours.
According to Aniq Naji, Dr Tauqeer Shah is against giving an extension to Saleem Baig, on which Aurangzeb insulted him in the Prime Minister’s House yesterday.
Reacting to Aniq Naji’s revelations, analysts say that Aniq Naji is a well-known journalist of PML-N. He meets Nawaz Sharif every day in London and he has had many meetings with Nawaz Sharif.
And if there is nothing supicious, then Aurangzeb should bring Aniq Naji to justice and prove the allegations against her wrong.
Analysts say that Marriyum Aurangzeb should clarify her position first about Rs270 million bribe before levelling corruption allegations against Farah Khan aka Gogi and ARY and PTV bids.
