However, when the girl contacted her parents in Pakistan through her mobile phone, the Indian Intelligence Bureau traced her and informed the sensitive agencies about the matter and the couple was arrested by the police.

According to the Deputy Commissioner, the Indian national planned to bring the girl to India via Nepal in September last year. After reaching Bangalore, the couple lived in the laborers’ quarters within the limits of Bellandro police station.

Cases registered against Malayam Singh Yadav and the landlord

According to Indian media, the girl has been handed over to the Foreigners Regional Registration Office while a case against Mulayam Singh Yadav under Sections 420 (cheating), 495 (concealment of marriage), 468 (forgery) and 471 (forgery of documents) of the Indian Penal Code. He has been registered and arrested, while a case has been registered against the owner of Quadr, Govinda Reddy, under Section 7 of the Foreigners Act for illegally sheltering a foreign citizen.

The FIA ​​contacted the girl’s parents and the Ministry of External Affairs

In this regard, the director of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) told Geo News that the girl was in contact with her parents, there was no regular contact with the relevant persons in the Iqra case, and the Foreign Department was contacted when the case came to light.
