Another series of audio leaks hits social media
Another series of audio leaks hit the social media as the recorded conversation of Maryam Nawaz, Malik Riaz and Asif Ali Zardari surfaced.
Another series of audio leaks have hit the social media once again as an alleged recorded conversation of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz surfaced just after Malik Riaz-Asif Ali Zardari’s alleged telephonic call.
In the latest audio leak, Maryam Nawaz was telling someone aggressively that she is managing media and she asked the person to contact the public secretary information immediately.
The PML-N VP was heard saying that the PID should be contacted and she will contact the prime minister if it rejects to follow her orders.
Fawad Chaudhry said in a Twitter message that he would have resigned from the ministry if he was ordered this manner.
The latest audio leak came after the telephonic conversation of real estate tycoon Malik Riaz and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in which Riaz was conveying the message of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.
Malik Riaz told Zardari that Khan is seeking a political settlement but the PPP co-chairman replied that it is impossible now.
Analysts say that the season of audio leaks in the country has started once again, first Malik Riaz’s phone call was leaked that he is talking to Zardari, and now another alleged audio of Maryam Nawaz has come to light.
They said that although Malik Riaz has rejected the veracity of alleged phone call via Twitter but Imran Khan has not yet disassociated himself from the phone call, nor did Zardari denied the phone call. However, Shah Mehmood Qureshi in his press conference yesterday refused to turn on the alleged phone call.
