Asian Hockey Champions Trophy 2021: Pakistan Qualifies for Semi-Finals

In first semi-final on Tuesday, Green Shirts will face South Korea and Indian team will face Japan.

In the league match of Asian Hockey Champions Trophy 2021, Pakistan has qualified for the semi-finals by defeating Bangladesh 6-2.

In a match played in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, the Pakistani hockey team won its fourth match against Bangladesh in the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy 2021.

The Green Shirts defeated the hosts 6-2 to advance to the semi-finals of the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy.

The Pakistani hockey team will play its semi-final against South Korea on Tuesday, while India will face Japan in the second semi-final.

Pakistan’s match against South Korea ended in a draw with three goals after an interesting contest.

In the second match, the host Bangladesh was defeated by Japan by a huge margin of 5-0.

Pakistan is third with five points after playing four matches.

The Indian hockey team had already made it to the semi-finals by defeating Japan on Sunday. Thus, South Korea tops the league round of the five-nation tournament with 10 points.

Earlier, South Korea and India had drawn in the opening match of the tournament, but in the second and third matches, India had won against Pakistan and Bangladesh.
