There has been a suicide blast in the Police Lines Mosque in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as a result of which 32 people have been martyred and more than 147 injured, according to reports. All the political leaders have strongly condemned the suicide blast in Peshawar mosque. The outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility for the blast.

President Dr. Arif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan, Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Aurangzeb, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali and many other leaders visited Peshawar. The suicide blast has been strongly condemned.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has called for a report on the blast and said that no effort should be left to provide the best medical facilities to the injured. He said that acts of terrorism cannot demoralize our security forces.
