Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has called for a report on the blast and said that no effort should be left to provide the best medical facilities to the injured. He said that acts of terrorism cannot demoralize our security forces.

Awami National Party chief Amil Wali Khan has condemned the police lines suicide blast and said that this kind of incident inside the red zone is a question mark on the security situation. Police has become a soft target for terrorists, Pakhtunkhwa Police is being targeted for many months.

Emil Wali Khan says that the elements involved in such incidents are not worthy to be called human beings, the state should come to its senses, stop the unrest, and end the distinction between good and bad. The only way for peace is to ensure proper implementation of the National Action Plan.
