They supplemented that the event could have been organized at a landmark of Karachi including Jinnah’s Mausoleum, Frere Hall, etc.
The absence of the channel employees in the ceremony also remained under fire.
The internet users criticized that the workers who are going to run the channel weren’t visible and it was brimmed with members of the cabinet.
They also called into question the partiality of the newly-launched channel.
The users contended what moral authority would the channel have to run news that go against Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
News360 learned through sources that the owner of the City News Network has good terms with ex-president Asif Ali Zardari.
It has also been learned through sources that the owner of the media group has close terms with an MPA of PPP who owns the Dharti Television Network.
They have signed an agreement under which famous anchorperson Sana Bucha is using Dharti TV’s Karachi studio to host her program for 24 News.
