Corona Virus is not tired even after two years, a new variant has arrived

Dr. Javed Akram, a member of the Scientific Task Force, said that a new deadly type of Corona virus “Epsilon” has been identified, he told Dawn newspaper

Dr. Javed Akram said that this new strain of Corona virus originated in California, USA, which is why it is called California b.1.429. He added that so far this variant has reached the UK and other European countries

Dr. Javed Akram is the Vice Chancellor of the University of Health Sciences Lahore and he confirmed that a new variant of Corona Epsilon has been found in 40 patients in Pakistan but the exact number could not be ascertained

Highlighting the positive side, he said that all vaccines are effective against Epsilon and all citizens should take care of SOPs along with vaccination
