The special court in Islamabad has made it clear in its written decision that indictment proceedings will be initiated against the accused strictly according to the law in the cipher case.
The special court of the Official Secrets Act has issued a written order for the October 9 hearing in the cipher case, during which copies of the investigation report were provided to PTI Chairman Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
It has been said in the judgment that a hearing was fixed on October 9 to provide copies of the challan, Chairman PTI Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi were directed to be brought to the courtroom.
The PTI lawyers said the bail application in the cipher case is pending before the Islamabad High Court.
The court has said in its written decision that the lawyers of Shah Mehmood Qureshi have filed a new application to hear the hearing in the open court.
The court has said in the verdict that on October 17, Chairman PTI and Shah Mehmood Qureshi will be charged.
