Crushing inflation fails to make PDM leaders sit under one roof

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the head of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), has called an emergency meeting of the alliance today in the wake of rising inflation in the country.

The meeting against inflation will be chaired by Maulana Fazlur Rehman through the video link.  PML-N’s lifetime Quaid Nawaz Sharif will also attend the meeting through video link from London while party’s President Shehbaz Sharif and Vice President Maryam Nawaz will attend the meeting via video link from Lahore.

The leaders of other parties will also attend the emergency meeting via video link.

The meeting to be chaired by Maulana Fazlur Rehman will be held at 3:30 PM today. The meeting will discuss a strategy with regard to inflation, rise in prices of petroleum products and the coming joint session of the parliament on November 10.

It should be noted that on November 10, 18 bills will be presented by the government including the electronic voting machine, e-voting and the right to vote for Pakistanis in foreign countries.

Sources said that the meeting will also be attended by Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Maulana Owais Noorani, Sardar Akhtar Mengal, Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao and Mahmood Khan Achakzai via video link.
