The hospital administration said that the injured include Naila, Rehana, Tehmina, Arsalan, Asifa, Bakht, Aziz, Fida Hussain, Altaf, Rashid, Zohaib and others.

Citizens said that people are being bitten by stray dogs while the municipal administration has turned a blind eye to the serious issue. They said that local municipal committee’s budget of millions of rupees is embezzled.

They further said that heaps of garbage are lying across the city, which attract stray dogs. In this situation, the local administration has not launched drive against stray dogs.

The citizens said that unfortunately an issue is taken serious only when an influential person falls victim in the country. The Dadu’s district administration is waiting for such an accident, they added.

On the other hand, municipal committee’s CMO Mumtaz Unar said that the local administration was doing its job as it takes action whenever complaints are received regarding stray dogs.
