Dan Petrescu – A Romanian billionaire was killed along with his wife, son and five other people when the plane he was piloting crashed into a building in Italy on Sunday, local media reported.
Dan Petrescu, 68, one of the richest men in his home country, was operating a single-engine Pilatus PC12 that was seen burning before crashing into a renovated office building in San Donato Milanese, a city southeast of Milan, authorities said. .
The fatal accident occurred a few minutes after the aircraft took off from Milan Linate airport at around 1 p.m., as announced by the aviation authority ANSV, which initiated an investigation.

The black box was recovered from the plane, reported the Corriere della Sera newspaper, citing the deputy prosecutor Tiziana Siciliano.
