Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has claimed that PTI chairman Imran Khan could be targeted by enemy agencies of Pakistan.

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan could be targeted by enemy agencies of Pakistan for which the blame game would start against the armed forces, him and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Rana Sanaullah made the claims while talking to the Geo News programme Jirga yesterday. He further claimed that every enemy and enemy agency of Pakistan are after Imran Khan’s life following the registration of an FIR against him.
Sanaullah said he prays for his long life but if something happens to Imran Khan then everyone would be blaming the Pakistan Army, ISI, him and the prime minister after the registration of the FIR after the Wazirabad gun attack.

He warned of a civil war in Pakistan if the threats come true. He slammed Imran Khan for bringing the country to a stage where he becomes a source of chaos and anarchy if he exits or something happens to him.
Talking about the PTI’s long match, Sanaullah told Geo News that the federal government had no plans to use force against the participants of the PTI long march as long as they remained peaceful and came unarmed.
He said Islamabad is no small thing but the capital of entire Pakistan adding that if the long march participants came with arms and they used them, then the federal security forces will use force to maintain law and order. Otherwise, the government has no plans to use force against the long march participants, he added.
Analysts said that Sanaullah should also elaborate on his strategy to avoid any uncertain situation in Pakistan. They questioned whether it was not the interior minister’s responsibility to eliminate any threats to a former premier or other citizens who could be targeted by the enemy agencies of Pakistan.
