Federal Cabinet Approves First National Security Policy
Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry says it took 9 years to formulate policy.
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said that the federal cabinet has approved the first national security policy.
Briefing the media after the cabinet meeting in Islamabad, Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that the approved national security policy has been linked with the economy for the first time. It took nine years to formulate the first national security policy. In the past, the reason for not formulating a national security policy was differences.

Briefing the media, Fawad Chaudhry said that the nationalsecurity policy has been linked with the economy for the first time and it is clear that if the economy is not strong then nothing can guarantee your security. The policy combines geo-trajectory as well as economic strategy.
The Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting has said that the second important point of the NationalSecurity Policy is that we believe that this policy will not be effective unless the common man is involved in it. The common man will not be protected, the economic, social and legal condition of the common man will not be satisfied with it, the security of the country will be endangered.
Fawad Chaudhry said that work on it was started in 2014 and this policy has been approved in 2021. It has taken almost 9 years to formulate this policy. More than 18 ministries have contributed to this arrangement. In the past, the policy was not approved because there was a lot of disagreement. This is the first time that a government has been formed which has the capacity to unite all. Prime Minister Imran Khan is a leader who has such confidence that he can unify all perspectives.
