This Educationist Saved Future of a Visually Impaired Student
The case took an interesting turn when Hasaan appeared in the IELTS test and got handed over a test paper in print rather than in Braille
A visually impaired Pakistani student received a Chevening Scholarship through an undulated journey with the efforts of famous educationist Nadia Naviwala.
Nadia Naviwala took to her Twitter account and shared the interesting tale of Hasaan Tahir who she believes is an exceptional student and individual who fought against odds.
Nadia said that Hasaan was one of her students at National Defense University but he was blind.

However, the case took an interesting turn when Hasaan appeared in the test and got handed over a paper in print rather than in Braille.
Nadia said the council gave the test in print despite knowing about the student’s disability.
The scholarship aspirant was told to return on August 7 but Chevening management wanted a firm admission offer by the university by July 15.

After learning about the unique case, Nadia Naviwala took up the matter and approached the relevant authorities for accommodation.
It was due to her efforts that Hasaan has now cleared IELTS last weekend and received Chevening Scholarship.
